I used to be quiet, unsure of myself and still trying to figure out where I fit.
Building my business helped me discover a confidence I didn't even know I had. I found my voice, learned to trust myself and realized I was capable of so much more than I had ever given myself credit for.
And maybe that's one of the greatest gifts this journey has given me.
Today, I get to help other women see what's already inside of them ~ and believe in what's possible for their own lives. 💗
I followed my heart, and it led me exactly to where I needed to be...
And guess what?
IT ACTUALLY WORKED!
I was newly married, a new mom and looking for something that could fit into this new stage of my life. So I took a leap and launched my Avon business.
I sold over $10,000 in my first year as an Avon Ambassador. But somewhere along the way, it became about so much more than sales.
I discovered how much I loved connecting with people, building community and helping other women believe in themselves and what they could create.
More than 25 years later, life looks very different.
Today I'm still a wife, mom, Nana, business owner and caregiver for my mom who has dementia.
Caregiving has changed the way I look at life and success. Some days go according to plan, and other days everything gets dropped because someone I love needs me.
That's when flexibility becomes more than a nice idea. It becomes everything.
Through every stage of my life, this business has changed right along with me — giving me purpose, connection, something that's mine and income that can help take the edge off.
Looking back, I wasn't just building a business.
I was building something that could grow with my life.
And now, I get to help other women do the same. 💗

MY SUPPORT SYSTEM
My family has been a huge part of my journey.
My mom, Diane, was always one of my biggest cheerleaders, believing in me even when I didn't believe in myself. Today, as I care for her, I realize just how much of who I am came from her.
Warren has been beside me through every crazy idea, dream, high and low ~ and Jesse has always brought his tech skills, ideas and unique perspective to the mix.
Their love and belief in me helped shape the woman I am today ~ and for that, I will always be grateful. 💗

Here’s how being an entrepreneur benefited me:
My Avon business has given me opportunities I never could have imagined when I started. I've travelled the world, experienced new places and cultures, built incredible friendships and created memories I'll carry with me forever.
But success means something different to me today.
It's having choices. It's being present for the people I love while still having something that's mine. It's continuing to grow as a woman, wife, mom, Nana and caregiver ~ without losing myself along the way.
That's a kind of success I could never put a price tag on. ❤️
